A library is a place that can broaden and reshape ones thinking capacity to be a better individual, which in turn helps to grow a community as a whole. the library is a storehouse of knowledge that has been chosen with utmost care. It manages the resources systematically so that it can be used by the user effectively without losing their precious time. The central library of Doomdooma College comes into existence in 1967 with the college's inception. It is an integral part of the teaching-learning endeavors of the college. Since its inception, it tries to inculcate positive thinking and a hunger for knowledge among the student community. The library has almost 33,000 titles in its collection, which caters to the need of the students and the teaching and non-teaching community of the college.

Library Rules 

• Every student must visit the library with proper uniforms.
• While entering the library users have to keep their belongings in the property counter room. Except the valuable items like mobile phones etc.
• Students can borrow 2 books for maximum 15days of period, while the teachers can borrow maximum 3 books for three month of period. After the due date, Rs. 1.00 will be charged per book per day as overdue fine.
• No books will be issued without the authorized borrower card.
• Reference books are not allowed to issue.
• Any kind of food is strictly prohibited inside the library.
• Users must maintain silence during their visit in the library
• Do not keep any valuable belongings like ornament, currency, mobile etc. at the property counter. If however, it is found to be lost, the library authority will not be responsible for that.
• If the library card is lost by any student, it should be reported to the librarian immediately
